Why do we pursue our spiritual path and what is it we hope to gain from this pursuit?
Awakened Early
I thought about this when I woke up at 3:07am due to the inpouring energies that are also flooding much of the earth and humankind at this time. As with many of us, once awakened I can only pretend that sleep will somehow revisit me before dawn.
Colors and Images Swirled
As I lay there, images and panoramas started to flow in with those energies. An unusual short story began to unfold in my head, of which I am sharing with you now.
The Gentle Voice
A voice spoke as the words began to flow. It was as if I had tuned into some obscure radio talk show host’s early morning opening monologue. Except it was my voice – I think? The voice embodied an uplifting, happy sound; and the words were calm and smooth.
We Follow Our Spiritual Path
“We follow our spiritual path to find the hidden treasures placed inside us,” were the words I heard. I saw beautiful swirling purples, blues and soft pinks, like large drops of colorful inks expanding and intermixing with each other. It was as if they were in a large body of slowly rotating and tumbling water.
Inhibitors and Pain Gone
“To find the inhibitors and things that cause us pain so they may be gently removed by the hand of God,” were the words that were spoken as a new scene was rendered.
There were several small (symbolic) non-descript, white, square boxes in the lower abdomen of a person that were being removed by two hands, whose arms were graced by sleeves of soft, satin or silky fabric.
The boxes disappeared at the touch of either hand, leaving the natural systems of the body to joyously resume their content and faithful expression.
Uplifting energies and emotions (feelings) then emanated from the area of the abdomen as all the organs contently resumed their purpose.
I could see, sense and feel the energetic bodies of that person unite, fuse, intermingle as an expression of the soul that dwelled within that body – both now able to happily continue onward in the world.
Explore Life to Find Its Source
“We explore our self and its connections in life to find the source of all things,” I heard spoken from that warm, uplifting voice.
Activities Appeared as Colorful Objects
All of his worldly activities and pursuits were shown as colorful objects, trinkets, and little boxes — like mini gifts. They were situated all over — in pockets, attached to the various articles of clothing and the jacket, as well as inside his person.
It looked like someone who was dressing up for a special party or flamboyant event. These ornamental objects reminded me of the kind you would find in an upscale boutique gift shop. Yet, everything appeared natural as he walked forward in the world and in life.
Things Aren’t Things
My mind was given to know that those colorful objects, trinkets and little boxes represented the things that were bringing him some fulfillment in his life.
He was only beginning to become aware that the feelings he experienced from them were only present because of the connection to love, joy and happiness he had assigned to them. He was starting to understand their true spiritual source.
Sunlight Beaming Down
In the final vision, my mind saw a blue sky with streaks of whisper clouds with the bright golden light of the sun shining upon another new scene as he walked the path of life. He was now living in the fulfillment, joy, happiness and love that were created by allowing the inflowing light to radiate into his heart.
Love Emanating from The Heart
At this point, all the trinkets and objects were gone, with only the person walking outside on that sunny day with the beams of light shining down from their source now emanating as love from his heart.
I was shown all that was described above as I wrote this short post.
So, why do we pursue our spiritual path?
I believe that each of us seeks the exalted experience of feeling alive and experiencing it to our core!
That is our experience when we are in what is referred to as heaven, where we dwell in intimate, pure connection with Creation.
For most of those on the spiritual path, we seek to live in love, joy and fulfillment (bliss) to the maximum extent possible while here on earth, as well.
With this morning’s vision in mind, as we pursue our spiritual path we will naturally be shown and experience our inner spiritual connections of love, joy, fulfillment (bliss) by the Divine (God), that dwell behind the activities and things in our life.
Day by day, we will increasingly live each moment being fully vitalized through our spiritual connection – feeling alive, living in love!
May you live from the love and radiance that dwells in your heart and at the core of your being!

Thank you for sharing this Jeff. The energies are intense (currently outside high winds blowing everything in a swirl). The last few days have even had obvious time line shifts taking place but as you say objects are not what they appear to be. All is only the One.
Love you

Thank you David & Debra! We love to get & read your blog posts! Blessings, Kathy & Dan
A side note here:
Being spirit, all that we do is part of following our spiritual path. But those of us in the spiritual community, and others who work to become more aware of their spiritual nature, are doing so with intent – making aware choices of our pathways and lessons, and are thus far more able to see and appreciate the process of our spiritual refinement, and guide our learning experiences according to our preferences and priorities.
