Sound Healings
Sound healing uses aspects of music to improve our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and well-being.
Sound has been utilized in various cultures for thousands of years as a tool for healing. Whether through the use of mantras as with the Hindis, the medicine melodies of various Indigenous peoples from Central and South America, or Pythagoras’ use of interval and frequency, these various techniques all have the same intention: to move us from a place of imbalance to a place of balance.
Sound does much more than heal. Sound can soothe, raise our consciousness, and take us into other realms of reality.
Healing is often thought of as fixing something that is wrong. Sound can harmonize everything that is right – Beauty, harmony, love and Spirit. Sound frequencies are created by playing various instruments, i.e., Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, crystal pyramid, crystal harp, tuning forks, Native American flutes, drums, rattles, voice, etc.
