Predictability and Restlessness
The unexpected changing times we are experiencing seem most unusual. The predictableness of yesterday has been replaced by a bumpy disarray of an evolving culture, social restlessness and a changing economy.
Change is Always with Us
Change is always happening, but has been accelerated due to a once-in-a-century pandemic.
With that said, a shift was already occurring before all of this ensued.
History Can Provide Perspective
Throughout history, the end of one phase gives way to another, with the one that emerges almost always being better. Although, it may not have looked that way while it was happening. The challenge is making it through the middle portion.
The Messy Middle
The well-known motivational speaker and business man, Anthony (Tony) Robbins, calls the middle period of any transition, ‘No-man’s land.’ Because we are neither where we started nor where we are going.
We’re in the messy middle.
Romanticized Renaissance
An example we often cite is the Renaissance. Starting in the 14th century in Europe, it gave us an explosion in culture, the arts, literature, the sciences, politics and economics after the not-so-fun Middle Ages.
In fact, it is a period that is often romanticized, as it should be. Wonderful things came out of that time that society is still benefiting from today.
However, it was also an era of major disruption and change for the masses of humanity.
Who Moved My Cheese?
During that period, a significant portion of unskilled workers (often peasants), had no idea what to do with the evolving rules of society and how to make a living under the changing conditions (remember, they had no social safety nets as we do today).
Hindsight and 20/20 Vision
What is obvious to us now with the benefit of history, was not so obvious to those living during the Renaissance. It was their messy middle.
The great news is that wonderful things await us on the other side of this cultural and spiritual change, just like a caterpillar is destined to become a colorful, beautiful butterfly.
Here’s why I say that.
Known for Decades
My first meditation classes were taken from a very spiritual woman named June d’Estelle. Back in the 1980s and 90s she often spoke of the upcoming changes and the shift that was awaiting society. That was the theme of many of her talks prior to each meditation.
The Old and the New
She said that the old patterns of society would break down along with many of the systems of government (and business). This would be a worldwide phenomenon. We were not to be in fear because as with any spiritual or cultural evolution, the old must fall away to make room as the new comes in.
Unfolding on Schedule
June said that this process would be a bumpy ride for a lot of people in society, as many do not have the spiritual foundations or connections to help guide them.
Much of what is happening right now, both culturally and spiritually in the United States and throughout the world, she spoke of in detail. It is unfolding as she said it would.
Dissolving Old Patterns
As the spiritual light and higher frequencies pour upon the earth, the frequency of earth is being raised, along with each of us individually as well as our soul group (humanity). As the new, higher energies come in, they help dissolve the old patterns for us personally and for everyone in society.
Of The People
Since governments (and businesses) are made of people, the old restrictive patterns of these institutions and organizations must be replaced with the light and higher awareness, too. In other words, the oddities we see happening here and there in various levels of government, and business(es), are merely a reflection of the people who work within them.
Buttons Pushed
Again, for those who are not ready or receptive to the evolving energies, they may find that their proverbial buttons are being pushed. These energies naturally (organically) evolve each of us upward, whether we know it is happening, or not.
Foreknowledge and Awareness
Very importantly, without the foreknowledge of how these energies can affect us emotionally, mentally and energetically, many people may find themselves acting irrationally when things were placid and serene before.
The old adage, “To be forewarned is to be forearmed” is appropriate here. With the fore-awareness of how these incoming energies are naturally evolving us upward, we can anticipate and flow with the changes (side effects) of the wonderful human and planetary growth and fruition they create.
Our Spiritual Practices and Community
Meditation, prayer, introspection and being part of a spiritual community can help each of us stay connected with the Divine and our higher guidance team. We can roll with the changes knowing they are part of our chosen life path and spiritual evolution (in part, that’s why each of us chose to incarnate on earth during these times.)
With that said, it is vitally important that we do not allow ourselves to get caught up in the social drama and upheaval of these times. It’s probably safe to say that most of us would prefer not being the lead star in our own personal soap opera series.
