Out of Control and Stuck?
Do the circumstances of your life make you feel like you are unable to change your situation for the better?
It can seem like we are immobilized by our own personal state of affairs and the dynamics of society at this period of time. We may find that we don’t know what to do because we feel that we have tried everything!
Everyone Can Be Affected
Debra and I are not completely disconnected from what is happening, either. Although we are guided to keep ourselves centered in our Higher Guidance and energies, we are both very sensitive and aware of the frenzied energies swirling around in society right now as well as the energies of others whose lives have become disrupted by their specific circumstances.
For that reason, even those who are completely secure in their life, family situation and job, may find that these chaotic energies of change can make them feel vulnerable and insecure in their own lives while having no real outward reason for feeling that way.
Keep Things as Stable as Possible
As we discussed in There Is Light at the End of the Tunnel post, it is very important to keep things in our life in the best semblance of order as possible.
This will allow us to step beyond this period of unpredictability and move toward a life where we are safe, secure and stable. Any improvement we can make right now frees us up emotionally, mentally and physically to be able to chart a new course and attain a better situation for ourselves and our family, sooner rather than later.
Simple Solutions are Profound
Richard Bach said in his book Illusions that the simplest things in life are the most profound. We have certainly found this to be true. That is, sometimes the most effective solution can be the least intuitive one. If something seems too simple, wishful, or disconnected from our current situation to work, we disregard it out of hand. We may think or believe, how could that even work?
Personal Example of Intention and Programming
Let me share an example. We once had a neighbor who was disruptive and noisy. After sharing our concerns with him numerous times and how it affected us and others, nothing changed. He did not become quieter or more considerate.
Then during a meditation, my guides reminded me to program the desired results. Programming is a form of active Intention. So, I did just that by visualizing and emotionally feeling the entire neighborhood serene and peaceful. My mind saw the idealized image enveloped in a soft pink hue during the programming, the energies of unconditional love. I did this every day during meditation for quite some time. Within a month, our neighborhood was much quieter and more peaceful.
Blinding Flash of the Obvious
This was a BFO for me – a Blinding Flash of the Obvious. I knew to do this yet it took my guides reminding me before I used this simple approach.
Surrender
Along these same lines is the spiritual principal of surrender (See Surrendering to Higher Guidance post). This usually happens when we reach our wits end and just give up and hand everything over to the Divine — our reference to God. After we do, to our surprise, things unexpectedly get better without explanation.
Do It Now – Don’t Wait
But we don’t have to wait for our situation to get worse (or really worse) before seeking help from the Divine. Just think, if God can create this Universe with such perfection, our problems and challenges should be easy to resolve for such a Being.
Act as if It is Yours, and It Is
To bring something into our life, we must first act as if it is already there. This is a well-known spiritual principal found in many esoteric writings. It is also shown in vivid detail in the DVD movie titled The Secret, from years ago.
Just like my BFO, it’s easy to get caught up approaching solutions from strictly the physical (worldly) level rather than also using Intention to hand it over to the Universe and our Higher Guidance to resolve.
Simple Technique to Use Programming (Intention)
If you haven’t done programming before, why not give it a try? There is everything to be gained and nothing to lose.
Just write down the steps outlined below. Recording works even better. If you don’t like your own voice, have a family member or friend record it for you. Ensure you give yourself enough time between steps (recommended time frames are included below. You may adjust them to your liking.):
- Find yourself a comfortable position sitting down. You can use your Yoga pose, even the Lotus position, if you prefer. If sitting, ensure your feet are flat on the floor. Now close your eyes. (Wait 30 seconds to 1 minute before going to the next step.)
- Imagine yourself enveloped in a bubble of brilliant white light. Ensure the bubble goes well above your head and beneath your feet. (Give yourself 30+ seconds for this step.)
Note: White light provides protection as well as adding power to your positive programming. It also helps dissolve any negativity surrounding your situation.
- Take a deep breath and hold it for a few seconds, then let it out with a sigh. Breathe normally in between deep breaths. (Wait 20 seconds. More, if you want.)
- Take another deep breath and hold it, then let it out with a sigh. (Another 20+ seconds.)
- Take one last deep breath and hold it, then let it out with a sigh. (Another 20+ seconds.)
- Feel yourself relaxing, as each muscle gently and effortlessly releases any tension or stress. Feel yourself weightless and floating. (Wait 1+ minutes.)
- Slowly count backward from 15 to 1, giving yourself 1-2 seconds between each number. (Wait 30+ seconds before next step.)
- Now, imagine your situation in its ideal state – make sure you include yourself, and anyone else that is part of the situation, in your visualization. That way it manifests in your life.
Whatever you want, see it, imagine it, visualize it being perfect, but not so specific that it precludes the Universe or your Higher Guidance from providing you something else that is better.
If you like, surround the scene or image in white or golden light. It adds positive power to your programming.
For ease of reference…
- Visualize it (including yourself in the picture), that perfect situation or desired outcome.
- Imagine it.
- If you don’t visualize well, just intend it, and it will happen.
- Feel it as though whatever your ideal situation or outcome is, it is in your life right now!
- See and feel yourself happily living, experiencing your ideal situation or outcome.
- Give yourself all the time you need until it feels real to you. (Recommend at least 2-3 minutes.)
- Now, release the image and watch it fade. You can release it into a cloud or wall of white light, or just see it disappear. (20+ seconds)
- Count from 1 to 15, giving yourself 1-2 seconds between each number. (Wait 10+ seconds)
- Open your eyes, feeling wide awake and refreshed!
You Did It!
You have just released your Intention, or programming, to your Higher Guidance, to the Universe. Trust that your desired Intention will happen — or something even better!
You can repeat this programming multiple times until it is completely real to you.
Now – Let Go
It is important to remember to release our idealized solution to our problem or challenge both emotionally and mentally after each programming session.
Otherwise, our Higher Guidance, which includes the Universe, will respect our free will and let us hold onto the problem. It will do nothing until we let go!
Ask, Then Say “Yes” to the Solution
One last thing, be ready for unexpected opportunities to come into your life. Sometimes after programming something, we then roundly ignore an odd opportunity that pops up in our life.
After all, didn’t we just ask for a solution to our problem? Do not be surprised that when the resolution finally arrives that it may be unusual, perhaps completely unrecognizable, to what we were expecting!
