(Author’s note:  This is the first in a series of writings that is a slight departure from our normal posts.  We have been guided to share it for those spiritual seekers who are ready!)

Spirit attributes are the energetic strands of our being.  All together, they manifest our soul aspects, are responsible for soul groups, and when shared by two or more beings, create soul mates.  Knowing about spirit attributes can provide us powerful insights about ourselves and other people, and other spiritual beings.

Millions of Spirit Attributes

Our being has millions of spirit attributes strings or strands that manifest our energetic and spiritual makeup, probably more.  They co-exist in both the realm of forms, transcending into the realm of formlessness.  Additionally, each spirit attribute strand is sentient in itself.

So, what are spirit attributes? 

When I First Encountered Them

I became aware of them during a period of accelerated growth between 2007 and 2009.  It was during deep meditation that I first saw them.  In order to best share that moment, let me use an extended excerpt taken from Part II of Life Training and Communications of The Father: Steps in Spiritual Growth when I first saw them:

“In the next moment, I was in a realm where neither The Father nor I had bodies.  I was surrounded by The Father’s Spirit, which covered me from above my position.  As His Spirit came down, it mixed with mine.

The realm was like that of being underwater, where the blue ocean is all that can be seen everywhere. Just as if one were beneath the surface of the sea, I could see what looked like refractions of light caused by the sun shining down from above.

The refractions took the form of long, vertical strings, or strands of translucent white light, except in this case it was spirit.  They would vary slightly in width along their run, and initially appeared to differ in length, too.

With respect to their varying width, they appeared as thin, flat ribbons from a distance, as if those ribbons were twisted at various points along their length.

Overall, they more or less appeared as vertical strings, or strands, of white light.

Between the strings of The Father’s Spirit above me, was a golden glow that originated from Him.  The glow diminished somewhat the further it came down into the area of my spirit strands, which were located directly in front, below and all around me.

As my mind looked outward horizontally, I knew the spirit strands before me were mine, I could feel them as such; there were probably hundreds of them (that were visible).

As the light strings of my spirit went upward, they meshed with the spirit strands of The Father’s, so as to produce a seamless dovetailing of being. Yet, I could feel His Spirit, too, through the connection with my spirit.  We were as one being without form.”

Spirit Attributes Makes Us Who We Are

The light strings, strands, or ribbons of light I saw were spirit attributes.  That’s what I call them, since each individual spirit attribute string contributes a minute portion to the character of our being, the very nature of who we are.

Spirit attributes have two main types of characteristics — descriptive and imbued attributes.  Let’s start with descriptive.

Descriptive Attribute and Granularity

While in the meditation outlined above, it occurred to me to tune into one of the spirit strands or strings I saw.  That spirit string dealt with honesty.  Of course, honesty is a label and doesn’t accurately express the whole trait of the spirit attribute’s descriptive nature, but it gets as close as possible using words.  

As I tuned to finer levels of granularity, I found that particular spirit attribute string was made of a group of even smaller threads, whose traits were pre-concept, pre-word in their characteristics.  That is, the nature of each thread was even more elemental.

To illustrate, our spirit attributes are like a piece of rope.  The main rope is composed of cords; the cords are made of strands or strings; and the strings are made of threads, and so on, all woven together into a single thick braiding.  So, too, are our spirit attributes in their makeup.

It was as if the definition of honesty could be subdivided into smaller pieces, just like the threads.  As I tuned even further into one of those sub-threads, they broke down into even smaller sub-groups of sub-characteristics that were made up of mini- or micro-strands or threads.

My mind came to know that this breaking apart of strings and threads into their smaller components went downward into infinity of smallness.  At least I couldn’t get a base set of spirit attribute micro-threads. 

The descriptive attribute or “definition” of a spirit attribute micro-thread became impossible or impractical to describe using words.

Imbued Attributes

Spirit attribute strings also possess other characteristics that imbue their descriptive attributes.  As in the example of the spirit attribute strand of honesty, along with all of its sub-threads, can be imbued with other traits, such as frequency, intensity, and energy nature, also called awareness-of-energy. 

Frequency

The imbued attribute of frequency affects how narrowly or broadly a descriptive spirit attribute’s definition, like honesty, will be exhibited by the person or being.  The higher the frequency, the more contextually-specific manner a being would demonstrate the descriptive spiritual attribute in their life.

Beings with a lower frequency would demonstrate a characteristic more broadly and homogenously in varying situations.  Even if a spirit attribute string is split into sub-threads, the imbued characteristic of frequency will affect the entire spirit attribute and its descriptive nature, all the way down to its finest sub-threads.

Using the example from my book, the frequency of a spirit attribute string, as seen from low (my being’s location below) to high (The Father’s or God’s position above me) will remain relatively the same along its whole length.

Intensity

The imbued attribute of intensity is straight forward.  It deals with the amplitude of the imbued attribute’s frequency.  It magnifies whatever descriptive attribute it imbues within a being.  That descriptive attribute would display itself more prominently in an entity’s/person’s nature relative to other spirit attribute strings of lesser intensity.

In the case of the descriptive attribute of honesty, if (it is of) high intensity, that trait would be very prominent.  If (it is of) low intensity, honesty may be overridden by some other more prominent characteristic contained in another spirit attribute string.

Intensity, too, tends to remain relatively the same from low to high, just as with frequency.

Awareness-of-Energy Nature

The awareness-of-energy imbued attribute is the level of sentient awareness the energy has of itself, including its awareness of all other spirit attribute characteristics.  Beings with a high level of this imbued attribute have a finer granularity of awareness of their own sentient nature. 

This awareness extends to the individual sub-thread traits of their descriptive spirit attributes (e.g., honesty).  It also enhances the ability to interpret the sub-characteristics of the imbued spirit attributes of frequency and intensity.

Those entities with high levels of awareness-of-energy can discern and apply, individually, collectively, or in whatever combination desired, the finer subset characteristics of any descriptive or imbued spirit attribute.

Enlightened and illuminated masters exhibit extremely high levels of awareness-of-energy sentient trait in all their spirit attributes.

Unlike frequency and intensity, the awareness-of-energy imbued attribute tends to be infused with an increasing awareness-of-energy the higher upward toward the body of The Father (or God) the spirit attribute string is sampled.

Imbued Attributes Can Be Confused With One Another

Because the awareness-of-energy trait of a spirit attribute goes beyond frequency and intensity, but often looks similar, it can easily be confused with those other characteristics of a spirit attribute.

This is because many people often conceptualize or “see” higher frequency or intensity in the same way, while being totally unaware of the awareness-of-energy imbued spirit attribute’s separate existence.  At least when initially introduced to spirit attributes, this similarity-in-perception can allow any three of these imbued traits (frequency, intensity and awareness-of-energy) to be confused with one another.

Stated plainly, frequency, intensity and awareness-of-energy imbued attributes each bring about totally different mix of personality traits within an entity or soul, within any given spirit attribute string, such as in our example of honesty.

Awareness of Spirit Attributes Empower Us

The more we become aware of our own spirit attribute energies and characteristics, the greater insights we can have about our self, our motivations and behaviors. 

When my own spirit attributes split, recombine and re-aggregate with one another, I know that growth is happening.  For it is the Divine, our High Self and other higher guidance that make spirit attributes evolve as they do.
