In the previous Grounding Chakra post, it was mentioned that a physical connection with Mother Earth provides many health benefits. I would like to add that it also provides many spiritual benefits as well.
During times of uncertainty and transition it is so important that we spend time in Mother Nature as well as grounding to Mother Earth.
Past Life Baggage and Emotional/Physical Pain
Some people experience emotional issues, while others experience physical pain/issues during times of transition or major spiritual growth. Emotional issues or physical pain may come up as they are letting go of past life baggage. These blocks are located in their auric field or chakras that impede their spiritual growth.
I am one of those people that experiences physical pain and/or issues with my body, along with the emotional component, when releasing past life baggage or during times of spiritual growth.
I may experience high blood pressure, headaches, pain in my body somewhere, typically in my back, and emotions may come up as well.
Personal Examples
Many people experience physical pain and symptoms when energetic blocks and past life baggage are processed through their being’s energy field.
If this happens to you too, just know that you’re not alone. And you are not imagining things.
Let me share some details about my own experiences. They may sound familiar to you.
Back Pain
For many years I have had low back pain, which has corresponded to past life baggage; it keeps coming up to be cleared, layer after layer. Much of it is in the Root and Sacral chakras, which also corresponds to my female anatomy that I have had issues with in the past.
When gardening, I always have pain in my lower back so I have to take frequent breaks and not work too long.
When I started getting the garden ready this Spring, I was having severe pain in my upper back, not my lower back. I asked my husband, David, if he could see what was going on.
He told me that the past life baggage corresponding to the pain in the lower back had mostly cleared. He also said that the new pain in my upper back corresponded to past life baggage that was coming up in my Solar Plexus chakra. I asked how long he thought it would take to clear. All he said was “awhile.”
It has now been over four months and the pain is still there when I stand too long, or when I am gardening. Some of the baggage has cleared but I can sense that there is still more to come.
Sometimes past life baggage can clear in an instant and at other sometimes it can take months or years for it to completely clear.
Blood Pressure
Another challenge that I have is that I take blood pressure medication, which is very effective at controlling it. I will go for months without having any issues and then my blood pressure will be really high for no reason at all.
When my blood pressure goes up it is usually because I am releasing old past life baggage or I am going through a spiritual growth period in my life; this results in my processing more energy, along with the frequency of my body rising.
Once the past life baggage has cleared or my body has adjusted to the new energies and frequencies, my blood pressure returns to normal. Often, the headache or pain in my body is gone.
With all of this in mind, there are things that you can do to leave the pain behind.
Spending Time in Mother Nature
Let me share a personal experience to help illustrate the connection between spending time in Mother Nature and how it creates a positive effect on us.
David and I just celebrated our 27th Wedding Anniversary by going to one of our favorite camping places for five days.
The entire time there, we were totally immersed in Mother Nature. We spent as much time as we could swimming, hiking, walking around the lake, watching the mountains, observing the wild life around us, even being mesmerized by our nightly campfire.
It was a magical time of peace, being present in the moment and disconnecting from the events of our life and the world.
Realizations
After we got home, I felt the familiar pain in my back while I was sitting in my chair that evening. My muscles were hurting, I felt stiff and emotionally things started coming up. While we were camping, I did not experience any back pain, challenges hiking, or any other physical, or emotional issues.
It was then that I realized that by spending time in Mother Nature I had totally disconnected from the events of my life and the world. Because I was totally disconnected, it allowed some of the past life baggage and attachments to be cleared. I felt lighter and more peaceful.
During the five days in nature, I was completely grounded to Mother Earth, and fully present in the moment.
This immersion helped me to see things from a different perspective. It gave me time to go within to reflect upon my life, so that I could determine what was really important to me… and what was not. It gave me time to be with myself and to nurture that spiritual being that is within me – my true self.
Now that I am plugged back in to my normal everyday routine, I realize that I am allowing subliminal stress to cause pain in my body. I have allowed myself to reconnect to some of the past life baggage that I was processing before we left for camping.
I also realize that I can be pain free and experience that peace, joy and bliss of just being, by making spending time in Mother Nature a priority in my life. Nature is where I feel my best, where I connect with myself and the Divine.
Choose to Spend Time in Mother Nature
I encourage you to spend as much time as you can in Mother Nature so that you can also experience peace, joy and bliss of just being, which will allow for unexpected spiritual growth in your life.
Mother Nature is calling, just waiting to commune with you!
