(Introduction Portion of Meditation)
We All Need Renewal
From time to time, we all need renewal. That refreshing influx of new people, situations, spiritual interactions, energies that enhance and brighten our life, making all things new again.
Ripples Throughout Our Life
With renewal, even if much of our life is seemingly unchanged, a connection with the Source of Renewal creates a vibrancy that ripples throughout every area of our life.
Our connection with renewal allows us to effortlessly let drop all that inhibits joy and allows us to have vitalizing engagement in our own life through its animating essence.
Naturally Bubbly
There are those who naturally connect with that fountain of bubbly effervescence in their life, and with the Divine. They spread their exuberance to all those they meet. They dwell in renewal.
Renewal Through Life Pursuits
Others find their renewal through activities and pursuits that resonate with their life path — that ideal job that reflects their essence, mission work, art, music, other spiritual interests, even philanthropy for those who are positioned to do so; the avenues are plentiful.
Beliefs Affect Renewal
Now, it is the nature of Spirit to bring about renewal; but we sometimes inhibit its ability to dwell in our lives because of our systems of beliefs.
Unexpected Happenings
With that said, occasionally, renewal can happen unexpectedly through an enormous life event that allows us to naturally disconnect from inhibiting old patterns and to connect to our ideal life patterns. This can happen in numerous ways:
- A major physical/psychological occurrence,
- A pervasive medical incident,
- A vehicle mishap, a near death experience,
- Or, other big life change, positive or otherwise.
In these cases, what appears outwardly to be an untimely happening allows us to connect with that source of life and renewal and walk our true path.
A Softer Approach
There is also a softer and simpler approach. We can set our intentions to have renewal by connecting with it in our own unique way, that gently revitalizes and energizes us. We merely need to accept it, believe that it awaits us, then embrace it when it comes.
Renewal is a Choice
There is always a choice when renewal arrives: hold onto the known, and sometimes mundane, or choose the gates of joy and allow higher guidance to bring in refreshing new ways of seeing and connecting with events, people, and the energies in our life so that we will naturally magnetize renewal, and experience it increasingly as our instinctive way of life, which it is in our inner being.
