What We Really Need

Freeing ourself from encumbering situations, people, attitudes and behaviors allows the greater Universe and Higher Guidance to manifest into our lives the things we really need.

When we are able to do this, the unfoldment of our lives reveals what is truly important to us and brings us the delight and fulfillment we desire.  However, those “truly important” things may have little resemblance to what we initially imagined them to be.

We Yearn for More and Repeat the Past

How many of us have outgrown some of our current friendships, deeper relationships, our job and disempowering life situations?

We often yearn for unfoldment that will renew our lives and make us whole.  Yet, we may find ourself somehow gravitating to the same habits, relationship patterns, situations and activities that we have known for so long.

It is very easy to remain focused today upon the energies and activities of yesterday while repeating them again and again, as time marches on…

Our Life Plan is Diverse

Our Life Plan is diverse and vast enough that it will allow us to engage in reruns of our life each day if we choose.  However, it also encompasses every event and possible choice, from large and small, that we could ever make in our life.  For that reason, our Higher Guidance has so much more in store for us neatly tucked away in this wonderful Life Plan!  We merely need to choose to find it. 

Our High Self, guides, the Universe and the Divine are intimately familiar with our Life Plan.  Although mindbogglingly complex to us, as I discussed in the article Intuitive Readings from Our Guides’ Point of View, Life Plans are easy reading for our Higher Guidance.

For clarity, let’s talk about the difference between our Life Plan (discussed above), our life path and Soul’s High Path.

For the purpose of this article, our Soul’s High Path is the highest path available to us right now.  Higher-level path segments may exist, but given who we are in the complex and vast nature of our being, it is the most elevated path we can walk right now in our present state of development.  Stated plainly, more elevated paths likely exist in our Life Plan, but we are not ready for them yet.

With that in mind, our life path is the current segment within our Life Plan that we are traversing right now.  It may be a segment or portion of our Soul’s High Path, but it is most likely a lesser path that has naturally unfolded due to our natural choices we make throughout each day.

The Law of Flow

A healthy, vibrant life is filled with constant flow.  A variety of new activities, people and situations are entering our life while others leave our active experience.  It ebbs and flows, but this movement continuously brings in what awaits us in our life path and releases those things that are now complete.

Implicit in the Law of Flow is our active recognition and participation in accepting new things into our life, even when they are unexpected, outside our comfort zone, or possibly unpleasant.  We must also be willing to release things, people and situations when their time is complete and their purposes are fulfilled.

Past Aspirations and Holding On

When we hold onto aspirations that are part of another era of our life or refuse to release that which no longer serves us, our Higher Guidance can do nothing to help us.

Our lives become immobilized while repeating the same patterns over and over.  We can find ourself inexplicably trapped in situations that we neither seek or like, nor that serve our highest good.

Free Will and Higher Guidance

This occurs because we have free will.  Whether we make choices or choose not to make a choice, we have made a decision that will impact the unfoldment of our life events.

For that reason, the Universe and our Higher Guidance will respect our decisions, both inner and outer, including those that are plainly visible as well as what we bury in the many layers of our being.

Nothing will happen until we set our intention to allow our Higher Guidance to steer our life path’s unfoldment.  If we hold onto a situation, the Universe will let us keep it – positive or negative.

Higher Life Path Choices That We Don’t Know Exist

Some of our decisions are made at a level and aspect of our being and consciousness of which we do not have full awareness.  With that in mind, we may wonder how we can open ourselves up to the fulfilling and engaging activities awaiting us on our Soul’s High Path with all these embedded blind spots?

Intention and Surrender

The method outlined below uses the Power of Intention as well as the insights of Surrender, like when we release a specific problem or our entire lives to a Higher Power.

It is a powerful method that allows us to be silently guided to our Soul’s High Path choices available in our Life Plan without having to know what they are. 

This approach is impressive in its simplicity, because it uses visualization, combined with Intention and feelings to unleash our vast inner power to seek and follow our Soul’s High Path without even knowing what it is.

Soul’s High Path Exercise

First, we will release a current situation, or our entire life’s activities, to the Universe, our High Self and Higher Guidance.

Releasing Old Patterns to Your High Self & Higher Guidance

• When in meditation imagine the current situation you want to release visually (You can even release your entire life situation, if you like, which is called Surrender.)  Use your feelings to connect with it and make it real, like it feels in your life.
• Study the situation and ask the Universe, your High Self and Higher Guidance the reason for it being in your life.  Know that you will receive the answer at some level of your being.
• Thank the situation for being the teacher and for the lessons it has taught you.
• Release it to the Universe, your High Self and Higher Guidance to be resolved for your highest good.  See it disappear.
• Know that your situation, your old life and its outdated patterns have been dissolved and handed over to Higher Guidance.  It is complete, never to be seen again in your life.
• From this point forward, think of this situation of how things “used to be.”  Avoid reengaging the old situation as this brings it back into your energy field.
• If you catch yourself reabsorbed in the situation, just use this visualization again to hand it back over to your Higher Guidance.

Magnetizing Higher Pathways of our Life Plan – Soul’s High Path

Now you are ready to manifest your Soul’s High Path.  Keep in mind, we shift life path segments all the time without being consciously aware of it.

Using the following method, you will utilize your being’s powers of visualization, feelings and Intention to shift your life path to the one that is for your highest good right now:

• Imagine before you a bright, shining path of brilliant white or golden light that represents your higher life path, the one that is awaiting you.
• Visualize, sense, feel and Intend that you are walking this illuminated, luminous path of Light – your Soul’s High Path.  Use your positive feelings (the language of the soul) to capture the essence of the life path your spiritual heart knows is there for you right now – for it is!
• Examine the many aspects of this path to make it as real as possible for yourself.  Make this feel as though it is something that is in your life right now.  Own it, for it is truly yours!  (You are using your being’s enormous Power of Intention and magnetizing to manifest this higher path to shift you onto your Soul’s High Path right now).
• Since there is no time on the inner dimensions, your being can bring this path to fruition in your life with no regard to time — instantly.  With that said, it will unfold in harmony with your Life Plan and the unfoldment of the many intersecting activities of the Universe.
• Ensure you have fully immersed yourself in your Soul’s High Path rendering.  Use your visualization, all of your inner senses, your positive feelings (the language of the soul), and your Power of Intention to make this life path the truth of your life right now.
• When you are ready, release it into the golden light that illuminates the bright, shining path of your visualization as you say, “I give this highest life path to the Universe, my High Self and Higher Guidance to magnetize and render it in my life for the highest good of all.  I release this life path Intention to you to manifest what is for the highest good in my life.”
• Clear the image from your mind and know that your Higher Guidance is bringing you the best path for your life now.  Know that this has already been done; you are now walking your Soul’s High Path.  You are only waiting upon the manifestation of it in the Universe of time and space.
• From now on, visualize this path as the path you are walking now.  You are now striding your Soul’s High Path that is for your highest good.

Use it Often

Use these combined methods to be free and released from lesser patterns of your current life as you naturally magnetize the situations, people, attitudes and behaviors of the highest pathways contained in your Life Plan.  This approach leads us to reach and live our Soul’s High Path.
