Focus of Our Spiritual Path
Finding and following our true life path is the focus of almost everyone who is pursuing the spiritual while on their earthly sojourn.
Commune with Divine
In fact, the whole purpose of being on earth is for us to connect with the inner essence of our being, through which we can deeply commune with the Divine.
Different for Each
For clarity, as mentioned in previous writings, the Divine is whatever aspect of God we connect with and relate. It could be the Great Spirit, Yahweh, Allah, The Father, even Jesus, and many other names not mentioned.
A Unique Relationship
The “God” we know, connect with and worship is not exactly the same for everyone. In fact, even those who profess to have the same spiritual belief system and the same God, each have a slightly different relationship to that God, or mask of God, as Joseph Campbell called it. That is one reason that each of us is special in the sight of the Divine.
Distinctive to Offer
It is equally true that each of us has something unique to offer to humanity that no one else can do as well, or in the same way, as us.
It is a matter of finding out what that is, then exploring it, and finally walking the path that was set forth for us before we came into this incarnation.
Shiny Objects Distract Us
At the same time, it is easy to get diverted in life, especially with all the shiny objects our present culture has to offer. Techno gadgets, virtual reality (to include TV), social activities, shared cultural thoughts and beliefs, and sometimes spiritual people, who promise much but don’t help us find the connection to our spiritual path.
They all keep us from our own personal spiritual connection and identity in and with the Divine.
They all can create confusion as to what exactly it is we are to be doing at any given moment in our life.
So, how do I find my path? Am I even on my path? What is the secret to finding and following my path?
These are all good questions, to which in our innermost being, we already know the answer.
Unique Answers
Keep in mind, the answers are at least a little different for each person, although we all have shared connection traits with(in) the Divine, whatever It’s name is for each of us.
