(Introduction Portion of Meditation)
Genuine Spiritual Growth
Our ability to attain a clear view of our genuine spiritual growth and the true significance of the events in our life can be obscured by our earthly-level view.
Daily Activities
The daily activities of our lives dominate our focus and keep us from seeing the greater significance of what often appears to be mundane events of our worldly existence.
In Retrospect Things are Clearer
Yet with time, we can look back at what may have seemed like innocuous, meaningless experiences, only to realize that they were pivotal in shifting the direction of our life in ways that we would not have imagined at the time.
The examples are many:
- A pivotal person in our life we accidentally met while standing in the checkout line at a convenience store after making a snap decision to get a snack;
- The unpleasant boss at a new job who later turned out to be a mentor to help shape a new, prosperous direction in our life;
- Attending an impromptu spiritual event with a friend to find that the experiences there helped shape the unfoldment of our Life Path;
- An unplanned move to a new city after losing our dream job, only to discover that even greater opportunities were available;
- Meeting the love of our life shortly after being deserted in a long-time relationship.
Endless Stream
The numerous activities and events of our lives can seem like an endless stream of less meaningful occurrences.
Perceptual Vantage Point
This can be our perspective until the myriad of activities and happenings of our life are seen from a perceptual vantage point that allows us to better observe and discern how everything is connected within the context of our Life Plan’s greater design.
The Challenge…
The challenge is that when left to our own perceptual abilities, we will naturally see some things, while totally missing others.
At the same time, others will clearly be able to see the things we missed, but may not understand the factors that are so obvious to us.
The Big Picture
Still, all of the perceptions of those around us can help, yet our ability to see the “big picture” will remain incomplete because we have blinders and filters that cloud our ability to fully perceive any situation as it truly exists.
Clear, Elevated and Unfiltered View
In order to obtain a clear, unobscured perspective that we all seek in our life, it needs to come from both an elevated viewing point as well as an unbiased and unfiltered source.
Fortunately, these are available to us as we look at our life from the Divine’s many viewing points from the Mountain Top of Our Life.
