Our Current Times
In this video we talk about these unexpected and changing time we are experiencing right now.
As we wrote about in the article, the predictableness of yesterday has been replaced by a bumpy disarray of an evolving culture, social restlessness and a changing economy.
Much is Happening
There is so much happening right now. Below are some of the topics covered in this video:
- Change is Always with Us – Change has been accelerated due to a once-in-a-century pandemic, but it was already occurring.
- History Provides Perspective – Throughout history, the end of one phase gives way to an improved one.
- The Messy Middle – Anthony (Tony) Robbins calls the middle period of any transition, ‘No-man’s land.’
- Romanticized Renaissance – The Renaissance gave us an explosion in culture, the arts, literature, the sciences, politics and economics after the dark ages. It was also an era of major disruption for the masses.
- Who Moved My Cheese? – A significant portion of unskilled workers (often peasants), had no idea what to do with the evolving rules of society.
- Hindsight and 20/20 Vision – What is obvious to us now with the benefit of history, was not so obvious during the Renaissance. It was their messy middle.
- Known for Decades – Back in the 1980s and 90s, my mentor June d’Estelle talked in detail about the changes and the shift that was awaiting society. The old social patterns would break down accompanied with many systems of government (and business). And, they’re here.
- Bumpy Ride – June said that this process would be a bumpy ride for those without spiritual foundations or connections to help guide them.
- Dissolving Old Patterns – As the new, higher energies come in, they help dissolve the old patterns for us personally, and for everyone in society.
- Made of People – The oddities we see happening here and there in various levels of government, and businesses, are merely a reflection of the people who occupy them.
- Buttons Pushed – These incoming evolving energies naturally push people’s proverbial buttons, as they evolve each of us upward.
- Foreknowledge and Awareness – Knowing about what is happening can help us cope when we know why they are affecting us in a particular way.
- Spiritual Practices and Community – Meditation, prayer, introspection and being part of a spiritual community can help each of us stay connected and calm. As we said in the article, most of us would prefer not being the lead star in our own personal soap opera series.
